Common Loon Records Announces New Dan Eubanks Single “Strap Me To This Barstool” — Out January 30, 2026
DOTHAN, AL — Common Loon Records is pleased to announce the release of “Strap Me To This Barstool,” the new single from acclaimed bassist, singer, and songwriter Dan Eubanks, available on all streaming platforms January 30, 2026.
Leaning fully into Eubanks’ Americana country sensibilities, “Strap Me To This Barstool” is a sharply observed, barroom-born reflection on heartbreak, humor, and hard-earned truth. With plainspoken storytelling and a lived-in vocal delivery, the song captures the weary resolve of a narrator determined to ride out one more night — no matter the cost.
Known widely for his work as a bassist and collaborator, Eubanks steps confidently into the spotlight as a songwriter with a keen eye for character and place. “Strap Me To This Barstool” continues to define his voice as an artist and songwriter rooted in tradition while speaking honestly to modern Americana and country audiences.

Common Loon Records Announces Debut Single from Dan Eubanks: “Rust Belt Town”
DOTHAN, AL — Common Loon Records is excited to announce the release of “Rust Belt Town,” the debut title track single from acclaimed bassist, singer, and songwriter Dan Eubanks, available on all streaming platforms
“Rust Belt Town” straddles the line between bluegrass and Americana—blending vivid, working-class storytelling with Eubanks’ signature musical sensibility. Featuring Michael Prewitt on mandolin and harmony vocals, Aaron Bibelhauser on Dobro and harmony vocals, and Jeff Guernsey on fiddle, the track also showcases Eubanks on bass, acoustic guitar, and lead vocals.
The song paints an intimate portrait of America’s industrial heartland, the factory towns that built the nation and the people there who weathered the decline and are still feeling its effects. It’s a song about inheritance, resilience, and dealing with the past.
